Grampians Pinnacle Walk

There are from two different routes to choose from to walk to The Pinnacle lookout depending on what sort of challenge you are seeking – an easy to medium walk from the Sundial Carpark and a more challenging climb from Wonderland Carpark.

The Pinnacle from Sundial Carpark
This is the easiest route to The Pinnacle, the walk from Sundial carpark is via Devil's Gap and is suitable for beginners and those less confident and those with children. There is plenty of native wildlife along the way, you may see a koala, some kangaroos and some have reported seeing echidnas. The Pinnacle lookout has breathtaking views of Halls Gap and the Grampians' many peaks.  It will take around 45minutes to an hour and is around 2km. It is recommended to have good walking footwear.

The Pinnacle from Wonderland Carpark 
If you are a keen or experienced hiker you will love the more challenging walk from Wonderland carpark to The Pinnacle. You will experience all of the same the beauty and wildlife as the easier route with the added challenge and breathtaking views. You will pass Bridal Veil Falls and Silent Street before you reach The Pinnacle Lookout and admire the vast views of the Grampians. This hike will take you around 1 hour and 30 minutes and is about 2km. There are some steep and rocky areas so good footwear is essential.
